Founder & Research Mentor
Meet the founder
Researcher, academic, mentor and consultant committed to helping postgraduate students become confident and capable researchers.
View published research ↗The beginning
The Writing Hub TZ emerged from Dr. Mhando's own postgraduate research journey. While undertaking his master's degree, he experienced many of the difficulties that students face when developing a proposal, selecting an appropriate methodology, analysing data and communicating academic arguments clearly.
At times, the research process felt complicated, demanding and overwhelming. His experience changed when accomplished researchers and academics offered him the mentorship, practical guidance and constructive feedback he needed.
The turning point
Through research training and mentorship programmes, Dr. Mhando strengthened his capabilities in research design, data collection, data analysis, scholarly writing and publication. Sustained mentorship and practical experience transformed him from a struggling postgraduate researcher into a confident academic writer, researcher and mentor.
"The mentorship I received transformed the way I understood research and academic writing. Through The Writing Hub TZ, I want to give other researchers the guidance, skills and confidence that helped transform my own journey."— Frank Mhando, PhD
Why the Hub exists
Promising ideas should not be lost because a student lacks consistent, practical and ethical research guidance.
Make complex research processes understandable, structured and achievable.
Develop students' ability to think critically, write confidently and defend their methodological choices.
Extend the same kind of expert guidance that transformed Dr. Mhando's own academic journey.
Our commitment
The Writing Hub TZ promotes ethical research, methodological rigour and independent scholarly development. We provide structured mentorship, technical guidance and constructive feedback that enable researchers to strengthen their own work.
